Active by Nature
Active by Nature will make 25 pairs of Nordic walking poles available for walkers to use in the walking events, giving a brief demo on correct technique prior to the start of the walks, and leading the Nordic walking groups.
Nordic walking technique used engages 90% of the body's muscles, is a great core workout, provides exceptional stability, reduces stress on hip, knee, and ankle joints and burns at least 20% more calories than walking alone.

Carrie’s Closet is a Calgary-based online boutique that started out from Carrie’s love of New York City. This business started out with a wholesale shopping trip in the New York City Garment district, and has since expanded into the Los Angeles fashion district as well.
Current, Carrie carries over 250 styles of Fashion leggings from size Small to 3X. if you are looking for solids, colors, patterns, skulls, galaxy or anything else…. Chances are she has them! Prices range from $10 to $50, so come and check out her selection!

ivivva athletica will set up a goal setting workshop directed towards younger girls. It will help them create and live a life they love.
Starting with the possibility of what an ideal life is to each individual, we will work on a vision of their life in 5 years. Then we will coach them to create balanced and realistic but audacious goals. Finally we will back it up with coaching on integrity in order to complete the goals and make that vision a reality!
Goal setting is important even as a young person. It gives an individual direction and should be exciting and fun when possibilities start to be realized. The most successful people in the world set goals for themselves and we want to give young girls a head start!

Our Traditional Masala is a blend of loose leaf black tea and eight different spices; the recipe was passed down through generations and has, over time, evolved into a rich, perfectly balanced Chai Masala.
To this day, when we drink a cup of tea, it still amazes us to think that each tea-leaf is plucked by hand, and then to wonder how to sustain this type of agriculture. Vastu Chai supports small-scale farmers and sources from certified Fair Trade and Organic farmer organizations.

The WildSmart Community program is a proactive conservation strategy that encourages efforts by communities to reduce negative human-wildlife interactions. Their goal is to develop a coordinated approach to education/outreach programs and help support direct management activities that will aid in increasing public safety and enjoyment as well as contribute towards sustainable wildlife populations.
The WildSmart team will educate you on what to watch for on the trails, and how to best react if you come across any wildlife.

The Last Order
Using the energy of one thumping bass drum, next add a sprinkling of bass and 12 string guitar to capture the attention. Once properly warmed up, add the tin whistle and mandolin for a dash of celtic flare, stir thoroughly and finally add harmony vocals and the subtle use of the harmonica to create an atmosphere of Celtic flare & energy. Mix in some Celtic folk, country and Bluegrass to achieve a unique taste for all audiences.
The Last Order will be playing on Sunday as you finish up your journey around the race course and enjoy the expo area and all it has to offer. Tired or not, they'll have you dancing in no time!

A Rocky Mountain Based musician and songwriter, Lori Reid is the singer/songwriter who brought us 'Colours', the anthem for the Rocky Mountain Soap Women's Run.
Lori will be performing at the Nordic Centre on Saturday from 11:30-12:30.
