Kananaskis Conservation Pass

In order to park at the Canmore Nordic Centre, or pretty much at any other fabulous provincial park within Alberta, you must purchase a Kananaskis Conservation Pass. This can be purchased ahead of time here, or you have until midnight on the day of use through the same link.

The Women's Soap Run holds no responsibility for any tickets issued for those without a pass, and the Nordic Centre staff won't have the capacity to sell passes on race day, so please purchase yours now if you plan to drive!
There is also the FREE local  ROAM Transit Route #12 that will be running on race weekend and can bring you from downtown right into the Canmore Nordic Centre.
Race Shuttle and Parking:
Help us make this event even greener and TAKE THE  SHUTTLE BUS or CARPOOL WITH YOUR FRIENDS! Biking is another great option, and racks are available on site.

THERE WILL BE NO SHUTTLES ON FRIDAY, MAY 23 - parking will be available at the Nordic Centre.

A Shuttle bus will run from our partner hotels on race morning starting from 7:00am Saturday, and from 8:00am Sunday, returning to each location approximately every 30 minutes. Pickup locations are: Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge, Grande Rockies Resort, Solara Resort & Spa, and Miners Hall in Canmore.

NOTE - MINER'S HALL STOP IS NOT ACCESSIBLE SUNDAY DUE TO A BIKE RACE! THE STOP HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE PULLOUT ACROSS FROM THE CIVIC CENTRE ON 7TH AVENUE.

If you are staying at (or close to) one of these locations, you can meet the bus outside the hotel lobby (or at Miners Hall). Shuttles will run from the Nordic Centre until 2pm each day.

PLEASE NOTE THAT NO BIKES/STROLLERS/ANIMALS will be allowed on the shuttle busses.

Parking is limited at the Canmore Nordic Centre - volunteers will direct you upon arrival. The Quarry Lake Parking lot will be used as an overflow parking lot. You can make the 1km Run/Walk from there to the CNC your warm up run! Parking is NOT allowed on HWY 742/Spray Lakes Rd. Vehicles parked here will be ticketed/towed at owner’s expense.

Lost and Found
Any items that are found on the premises during the event will be collected in the Cloak Room inside the Day Lodge. Items left behind after the race weekend will be left at the front desk of the Nordic Centre. For valuable items, contact [email protected].
